In 2007, BEN Namibia sought to consolidate its knowledge of the impact of transport on access to healthcare. Working with the Legal Assistance Centre and Yelula Ukhai, the research project focused on people living with HIV/AIDS, however the results indicate that access to a broad range of health services is serious issue for many Namibians, especially those in rural areas.
